Whew! What about the last two weeks, huh? Between Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, I have been floating in all kinds of emails,
text messages, postal mailers, and social media inbox messages.

I'm not mad, though; shoot ya shot and glow up entrepreneurs, right?!! Listen, I saw emails from business folks that I haven't heard from in MONTHSSSS.

Again, no shade.

It did become overwhelming, though...so I had to unplug. I felt terrible about it for a second and then had to think about it. This is the mental wellness that I need to consider, and becoming overwhelmed is not on my goals list.

I know I need to take care of my time, experience time out, and have my own space, and it reminded me that getting away from the hustle is OK.

It doesn't mean I'm not ambitious or hardworking; it just means I have the desire to maintain my mental wellness.

So during this gift-buying season, in between all of the deals, I'm taking care of myself too. That's my truth right now, and it feels empowering.

What's your truth? Take some time to reflect and find yours this week!

Now let's get out there and keep hustling entrepreneurs, influencers, and creators! Here's to the last few weeks of 2022! 🤩

Go Be Great!

There's so much talent and so many gifts in the world.  Karena this month, I am featuring entrepreneur and sibling team Destiny, Aasha, and Imahkus Manns:  sisters, co-founders, and coaches of Kidz2Kidz Coaching.

Kidz2Kidz Coaching is a self-development program/ service for kids between the ages of 10-18, teaching them core life skills necessary for living a successful but,

most importantly, fulfilled life.

The mostly interpersonal topics taught by this fantastic team teach range from Communication, Networking, and Emotional intelligence skills
to Financial literacy, Self-discipline, and Grit.

All our eight core topics can be found on their website:  https://kidz2kidzcoaching.com/

Destiny, Aasha, and Imahkus Manns were all born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, where their mother is from.

Their father was born and raised in Virginia but left the United States at 20yrs old to pioneer Chiropractic care in Ghana, where he met their mother.

After their father reached a successful point in his field of passion and work, he and his wife took their family on a lifetime trip. For the next five years (2014-2019), the family of 6 traveled and lived in 20 countries, 32 cities, and 48 U.S. states. It was while the Manns girls traveled and met many families and kids that they realized the lack of soft skills evident in public school curriculums and started developing Kidz2Kidz Coaching. Using their background, worldly experience, and upbringing, the Manns sisters launched their business in September of 2021 and have been developing their program and improving their service since. Their goal is to positively impact as many kids' lives as possible while getting their program into public schools.

The Manns sisters are truly trailblazers in self-development, shaping a generation of vitally self-aware,  resilient, and inspired young individuals. These amazing sisters and entrepreneurs are empowering youth to take control of their life and create a meaningful and fulfilling future for themselves.

Identifying Self Sabotage during the holiday season.

The holiday season is a time of celebration, family gatherings, and giving thanks.

Unfortunately, it is also a time when many people can fall into self-sabotaging behavior that can lead to negative emotions like guilt, fear, and depression.

Knowing the signs of self-sabotage can help you avoid them and make the most of the season.

Common signs of self-sabotage can include:

1. Setting unrealistic goals and expectations for yourself - Striving to do too much at once can lead to feelings of overwhelm and disappointment. Aiming

lower will help you meet realistic goals and reduce your stress levels during the holidays.

2. Procrastination - Putting off tasks until the last minute can lead to feelings of inadequacy and disappointment. It’s important to take action when necessary
and set realistic deadlines for yourself.

3. Negative self-talk - Engaging in negative self-talk and thoughts can lead to low confidence and a lack of motivation. When you find yourself engaging in
negative self-talk, take a step back, and focus on the positive aspects of the situation or task.

4. Isolating yourself - Withdrawing from others can lead to loneliness and depression during the holidays. Instead, reach out to loved ones or join social
activities with friends and family.

5. Comparing yourself to others - Constantly comparing your accomplishments to those of others can lead to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem.
Instead, focus on your own successes and take pride in the progress you have made.

Recognizing these signs of self-sabotage is an important first step in avoiding them during the holidays. Taking the time to focus on positive thoughts,
set realistic goals, and reach out to loved ones can help you make the most of the season. With these tips in mind, you can have a happy and fulfilling
holiday season. Knowing these signs can help you identify self-sabotaging behavior and take steps to change it.

Here are some simple tips for avoiding self-sabotage during the holiday season:

1. Monitor your thoughts - When engaging in negative self-talk, stop and remind yourself that these thoughts are not helpful. Replace them with positive
affirmations and focus on the good in yourself and your life.

2. Set realistic goals - Break down large tasks into smaller, achievable steps that you can complete along the way. This will make it easier to stay on track
and avoid feeling overwhelmed or disappointed when things don’t go as planned.

3. Reach out - Don’t be afraid to ask for help when needed. Reaching out to friends and family can make a world of difference when it comes to avoiding
feelings of loneliness or depression during the holidays.

4. Celebrate your successes - Take time to appreciate your progress and take pride in your accomplishments. This can help you stay motivated and focused on
the positive during the holiday season. Following these tips can help you avoid self-sabotage and make the most of the holidays. With a little self-awareness,
you can enjoy meaningful moments with friends and family while feeling good about yourself at the same time.

5. Take time for yourself - Make sure to take time each day to relax and rejuvenate. This can help you stay grounded and focused on what
is important during the holiday season.

6. Practice gratitude - Spend a few minutes each day reflecting on what you are grateful for. This will help you focus on the positive and appreciate
all that you have.

7. Have fun - Don’t forget to take some time to do something enjoyable each day during the holiday season. Whether it is watching a movie or going for a
walk, and make sure to set aside some time just to have fun.

By following these tips, you can avoid self-sabotage and make the most of the holiday season.

Self-awareness, setting realistic goals, reaching out to loved ones, celebrating successes, taking time for yourself, practicing gratitude, and having a little
fun can all help you stay positive and have a happy holiday. With these tips in mind, you can enjoy the holiday season while feeling good about yourself.
So, take some time to focus on the positive aspects of your life, set realistic goals, and reach out to loved ones this holiday season.

You can make the most of this special time of year with some self-awareness and care! Happy holidays!

That whoooooolllleeee FEAR part....I had to listen to it multiple times. Always looked at fear like a very negative thing.
I used it as an excuse, sort of like a crutch to not even start to do the work towards a goal....whew.
I’m going to listen to that part again, can’t wait to put a smiley face on that BINGO block.
